Privacy Policy and the use of cookies on the fideatrade.com website (hereinafter referred to as: “Website”)

On the Website, you can find information about Fidea‘s activities, read the content of press releases, watch photo and video materials, read descriptions of products and services or receive the latest information and offers.

This privacy policy contains information on the processing of personal data that you may provide to Fidea when using the website and information on the use of cookies on the website. Our goal is to protect your personal data on the Internet. We will make every effort to protect your privacy while using the Website. We adhere to recognized international safety standards. We regularly control the introduced measures in terms of their adequacy to secure the data held.

In order to enhance the quality of our services, we will be sending to your web browser a small file which will be stored on your computer and read by our web server (we call this a “capsule”/”cookie”). Such a capsule cannot be read by any web server other than the one that transmitted the capsule. As regards to Fidea services, your data will be processed for the period in which these are provided and, sometimes, after their completion, but only if it is permitted or required by applicable law, e.g. for statistical or accounting purposes, or to exercise legal claims. In such cases, your data will be processed as long as necessary for the fulfilment of these purposes.

We will also process your data until expiry of mutual claims resulting from the notification given via the contact forms available on the Website.

As regards adapting the Website’s content to your interests, marketing Fidea’s products and services, performing statistical measurements and enhancing services, your data will be processed for these purposes until you raise an objection or cease to use the Website.

What is the legal basis for the processing of your personal data?

With respect to Fidea‘s services provided in connection with the Website, your data will be processed in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party).

As regards adapting the Website’s content to your interests, marketing Fidea’s products and services, performing statistical measurements, enhancing services, and answering your queries, your data will be processed in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Fidea). The legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator include customising the Website’s content to your needs, ensuring the security of these services, as well as their constant enhancement.

To which recipients will your personal data be transferred?

Your data may be transferred to entities processing personal data at the request of Fidea, among others IT service providers, marketing agencies – such entities process data on the basis of a contract with Fidea and only in accordance with Fidea‘s instructions.

What are your rights related to the processing of personal data?

You have the following rights in connection with our processing of your personal data:

  • the right to access data,
  • the right to have your data rectified,
  • the right to have your data erased (in certain situations),
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority competent for the protection of personal data,
  • the right to restrict the processing of personal data.

If your data is processed on the basis of consent or as part of a service provided to you (the data is necessary to provide the service), you may also exercise the following rights:

  • the right to withdraw your consent to the extent it provides the basis for data processing. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • the right to personal data portability, i.e. the right to receive your personal data from your data Administrator in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You may provide such data to another data controller.
